Origami Dinosaurs

Over the years we’ve had so many requests for origami dinosaurs that we’ve finally relented and dedicated our holiday program to these popular creatures. Build your own Jurassic Park with this selection of prehistoric origami.

The classes are aimed at 8 years old and up and are guaranteed to keep the students entertained long after the sessions are over. Class sizes are deliberately kept small.

The workshops are conducted at the Graceville Presbyterian Church Hall in Banks Road, Graceville.

Class duration is 2 hours. There is a choice of attending either a morning or afternoon session. The morning session starts at 9:30am, the afternoon at 1:30pm.

Typically there are three days with which to pick a convenient time.

The workshop sessions have been kept at $35 per student with all materials supplied. In addition there are generous family discounts with parents and carers are invited to join in for free.

Traveling Origami Exhibition

So kids all over your school are really getting into origami, all the books are checked out of the library, you’ve checked out the stuff on the internet, and now you are looking for something different. Ever considered having an origami exhibit visit your school?

Plico Design, the folks who sponsor Origami Dojo, have a collection containing hundreds of folded models depicting some of the best designs from around the world. Dragons, Dinosaurs, African Animals, Sharks, Planes, even a Bulldozer. You name it and they probably have one in their collection. Now your school can have a selection from their collection put on display for up to a month at little or no charge.

Check out this book next time you’re down at the library, it was the first origami book to make it to the best-seller list.
